How many days should be allocated for Minsk + castles?
Minsk 3 + 1 on locks
I had a whole day set aside for each lock. And I didn't regret it. :)

@VLadimir: If you are talking about the Oginsky estate (the Zalessky castle, as you mentioned), it is not on the way to the Mir and Nesvizh castles, but in the other direction.
3 days in Minsk was not enough. If you are driving, you can visit the Mir and Nesvizh castles in 1 day. If you are going on your own, then 1-2 days depending on how you walk around. If you are visiting the Grodno castles, then at least 2 days.
But Minsk as a base for castles - is that normal?

@VLadimir: Well, it depends on the person. We spent all 3 days on our own, saw a lot, went on tours. Even 3 days was not enough for us.
