in Santa Marta, it’s really cool in terms of nature and hiking - Tayrona and so on, the sea is usually cleaner, but still - it’s not an island, and often restless, especially closer to Palomino. If you want to hike not only by the sea but also in forests and mountains/waterfalls - then Santa Marta is better, but if the goal is a calm and clear sea - then San Andres
