Can't tell you near the sea. You can type in "picnic place" in Google Maps and choose any one you like
There are picnic sites with equipped barbecue areas. They are not available everywhere. Near the water, there is the Finikaria picnic site near the Germasoyia reservoir. Along the seaside, there is the nice Petra tou Romiou, but it seems there are no barbecue facilities there.
