Yes, each store here sets its own rules. I remember being outraged about this 3 years ago. Now I clarify their rules every time before making a purchase if it's an unfamiliar store and I anticipate that there might be a return.

@Niko: As far as I know, returns of unworn items with tags in the Czech Republic are made within 30 days. That's why I wrote that it's less. And about the days, the store didn't count at all; the first phrase without looking at the receipt was - okay, we just won't refund you the money.
