Can you rent a car in Athens without a credit card?
We took it on Rhodes without a credit card. In Crete, they asked for a credit card. But I had one, so now I'm thinking, I hope speeding tickets won't come up, although I'm really trying not to break the rules.
And the other participants of the movement - are they reasonable?
@Maks: Overall - yes. In Crete, another thing I love is that there is usually a wide paved shoulder on the right side of the roads. And everyone lets each other pass, which results in fewer overtakes in oncoming traffic and, accordingly, fewer accidents. However, overtakes do happen across double solid lines sometimes. But overall, it's not bad. The locals are certainly fed up with the tourists, which is understandable.
