Not at all. Once, they took away my ceramic file in the GC
We went last week, with only hand luggage. I had a trimmer, small scissors, tweezers with me. I was ready for them to take something away. They didn't take anything anywhere.
All sharp objects will be taken. Tweezers, scissors, etc.
