Ferro di cavallo
There is an app called Fork, with which you can get discounts at restaurants.
At Giusto Cesare, we once got a 30-40% discount.
We like coming here, I especially enjoy the pizza here (I get the one with pistachio cream and mortadella specifically here, they also have seafood).
Giulio Cesare the empire of taste
Good restaurant Pizzo e Pizzo Srls (we sometimes eat truffles there, among other things, it is expensive)
Thank you for The Fork. I need to try it, installed it, roughly understood the principle. You find a restaurant/cafe in the app, reserve a table, and choose a deal. So, if there is a deal of -50 percent, I come, order carbonara for 16 euros from the menu, and in the end I'm presented with a bill of 8 euros. Is that right?
@Alex: In principle, yes, they can charge for coperto (service) on top, possibly for drinks, you need to clarify. And there is also an app where you can get food with a discount from bars/patisseries/shops/restaurants.
@Vlad: Cool, what kind? Maybe we can pick up a pizza with a discount at a good pizzeria nearby.
@Alex: Too good to go Probably won't get pizza there, they give away what they couldn't serve, and in a pizzeria they don't prepare pizza in advance. But maybe you'll be able to find pizza in a bar, as they often sell pizza al taglio - pizza by the slice. But as far as I know, you can't choose the contents of the box.
@Kate: Interesting business model. Haven't heard of this before.
@Alex: They are giving it away for money)), but cheaper than the cost of groceries in the box.
@Kate: Exactly, I found a gas station near my house (not in Italy) where they give out unsold pastries (croissants, buns) in a package. The principle is clear, I didn't even know about this before.
@Alex: Another planting will be added to the bill.
@Alex: Yes, we have already tried Too Good To Go. We ordered food from a central restaurant once, they put pasta in a box (it was still hot), and also gave us an antipasto. There isn't much choice, it's a bit of a lottery, but you can choose the type of food: sweet, sushi, etc. By the way, the pizza by the slice around Politeama is not bad, they use good dough, plenty of toppings, and there is a good selection. Locals go there (If you stand facing the theater, then to the right along Politeama, go about 70 meters, via Amari).
