Is it impossible to get to Kaliningrad without a ferry through Latvia?
Then probably through Latvia and Lithuania, as far as I know Lithuania allows entry with a transit permit. That is, entry through Belarus.

But I'm not sure that this loophole still exists. It was set up for a few hours. But what exactly do you dislike about the train? You can rent a car after all, why bother with these problems?
