What to see in George Town and the surrounding areas?
Everything is concentrated in the center of the city, Chinese Indian quarters.
The beaches on the other side of the island did not impress me, but you can go there; the bus runs for 3 mura (cash is accepted).

@Mikola: I don't know about the taxi. The buses seem to be numbers 101 and 102, they go through the whole city and then to the villages. You can check the route on Google.
Can you return from there on a rake, getting to the other side of the island? Or can you not leave the village? How to find the bus that goes from there?
