I brought a bunch of orchids from Thailand) I might be mistaken, but there seem to be no issues with exporting. They can take them away upon entry into Russia because phytosanitary control and quarantine must be passed. In general, hide them better.

@Terra: I haven't been shaken even once, although I'm a plant fan and I've brought a lot)

Can you tell me how you transported them? In what? I also wanted to bring some from there but didn't figure out how.

Yeah, I read the import rules, there must be sanitary control. Well, I will probably give it a try )))

@Dar'ya: Orchids have aerial roots. I took them out, shook off the substrate, and if something was left on the roots - I left it.

@Terra: Generally, if the sprouts are not large in size (i.e., not like a full-size one with roots), I think they won't be picky. That is, they may pass as leaves, etc., as an option, you could even try carrying them in hand luggage.
