Who flew to the Maldives?
We flew with them today. I couldn’t register online - the website was down, the app was frozen. But a girl on the plane said that those who bought tickets through the Tinkoff app had such a situation; if through Aviasales, there are no such problems. I don’t know if it’s true or not. I specifically took it through Tinkoff. The waiting area had couches and comfortable chairs. Yes, it was cold, but it was warmer closer to the walls than in the center of the area. During the flight, we were fed once, and they served juice, water, white and red wine, canned beer, tea, coffee, and water. One Russian flight attendant served us, a very nice male steward. The food was excellent, a blanket, a pillow, headphones - at each passenger’s seat. It wasn't freezing; my 10-year-old child didn’t cover up during the flight, just wore a thin sweater, it was a bit chilly. There was Wi-Fi, but I didn’t connect. The choice of language for watching movies wasn’t great - English, Arabic. Overall, we had a great flight.
My observations
Online registration took 30 hours. But the site keeps crashing... after about 2 hours, hooray! It opened. And it froze again. Seats were issued. Changing (as it was with the Qataris, by pressing the "change ticket" button, it immediately offers paid seats. Did not change. At the airport, we paid extra (1300 for one flight segment and 2900 for another segment per person). But families (if you have one reservation) are seated together.
Flight Moscow - Abu Dhabi: the cabin is similar to the Qataris, there is Wi-Fi (WhatsApp, Telegram), but the loyalty card needs to be arranged. You can communicate between different rows (in chat or calls) in case you are seated apart. I liked the idea.
Drinks - much more modest than the Qataris, coffee and tea were not offered. They fed us once and did not offer anything additional. The Qataris offered food and drinks throughout the flight... I did not find any movies in Russian, but with the Qataris, I enjoyed watching The Great Gatsby, etc.
Abu Dhabi airport is beautiful! But the Qatari one impressed me more. Duty-free - prices are higher than in Doha (or they've just become that way). Flight Abu Dhabi - Male - the plane has no screens.
And the main thing! What I remember about this flight and now associate it with - WILD cold! Both on the plane and at the airport. We froze to such an extent... And we didn't take warm clothes, remembering that last year it turned out to be completely unnecessary.
In Abu Dhabi, I liked the waiting area for the flight. There are many soft chairs and sofas, you can sit or lie down as you wish.
Schedule - arrival 20 minutes earlier than stated
If I had a choice - Qataris or Etihad, I would choose Qatar Airways at the same cost.
Blankets blankets in stock)))
@Gfo: Yes, yes!!! I can't imagine what it would be like without blankets. I had 3 blankets on me, and that's considering that I love coolness.
Imugu is not even looked at. She is in their database. They see her without a show :)
