It works, and they really love cash. A situation happened about 30 minutes ago, I ordered a taxi, it arrived, saw that there was a card, and just drove away right in front of me. Also, the money was debited from the card.
It works but the prices are high, link a Russian card right away in Russia, you won't be able to do it in Moldova. Payment will be cash only.
