Which district in Panama is unsafe? Which restaurants to visit?

Stayed right in the center of Calidonia. Well, I didn't know yet that it's a "bad area" :) Chose a hotel at a reasonable price near McDonald's and the metro, everything worked out. Yes, there is garbage lying around in some places, not pleasant. But, it's just a neighborhood, strolled around day and night, and by the way, ladies are just a few meters away from the hotel :) and there's a fish market nearby, you can go there for breakfast. The grumpy guys are quite polite, don't cause trouble, behave decently.

@HACKERMIND: if there are hotels and ladies, it should be relatively safe. Either the police take care of order, or the local guys with tattoos, or everyone together.
