And how do you get there? Google says it takes 4 hours by car from Singapore to the Mercing pier if you take a taxi (plus we should add possible time for potential delays at the border), and then another 1 hour and 15 minutes by boat. Almost half a day for the trip. It seems a bit inconvenient. It’s even easier to go to Bali or Phuket—2.5 hours by plane (although with all the airport procedures it will be the same 5 hours), and it’s cheaper than a taxi to the Mercing pier.
