In Stellenbosch, we allocate one day for sightseeing in the city, and from the second day we would like to visit wineries… will a couple of days be enough? That means 3 nights in Stellenbosch. We are thinking of visiting Babylonstoren, Graff, Tokara, and others. How many days did you spend? Were you tired of tasting, was it boring? Maybe you visited the Jonkershoek nature reserve? Has anyone traveled from one farm to another in their own car? Is the police present (are there penalties for drinking and driving?)... We are considering going to Franschhoek, but we are in doubt if it will be monotonous? For 1 night and then 1 night in Hermanus. So it adds up to 3 cities and 4 nights. Is that okay? We are booking accommodation and wondering if we have allocated too many days?
a lot of things, you can travel for three weeks. Try the little tram, wineries with animals, Spice Route - there is a tasting of beer, chocolate, Fairview - cheese tasting
One day was enough for the wineries, Graff, Tokara, and VERGELEGEN; I didn't want to go to others. We drove in our own car between them, didn’t stop, but I think it doesn’t say anything. It probably depends on how lucky you are.
Two nights in Stellenbosch, two in Franschhoek. One day on the tram, one day we had a picnic at the winery, one day we lazed by the pool and visited the car museum. Three days is more than enough! I can't eat and drink that much.
Where is the car museum? Is it interesting?
@Http: We went from Stellenbosch. Somewhere between Stellenbosch and Franschhoek. Not bad. Lots of retro cars. It's interesting to stroll around for a couple of hours)
We spent 3 days in France, with the only drinker in the family being me. The wineries are not only about wine, but also about design, nature, and food. It’s so beautiful that it can really drive you crazy. And for sure, there’s more to do than just drink)))
I really enjoyed the wine tour on electric bikes in France. You ride along the route and stop at 2-3 wineries for tastings.
I vote for it.
Thank you for the idea.
I do not recommend the chocolate tasting, the owner has changed, and now instead of an interesting story about the production and the flavors of the chocolate, we received a box of 5 or 6 candies (without water) and zero information, it could have been purchased. There were many people in the brewery, I wanted.
