Please suggest the optimal routes from Alicante to Malaga (Marbella)?
Unfortunately, there is no proper communication by trains there. The best option is by car; I drove in my own. You can also take a bus, but it takes a very long time. Or by train through Madrid, which is also "not that great."
By the way, I was surprised that there is still no proper connection not only with the south of Spain from Alicante, but there are also no high-speed trains to Barcelona.
There are no direct convenient route options yet. You can go through Valencia, from Malaga to Valencia by plane, and from there to Alicante by bus. It's also not great, but better than going through Madrid.
Oh. I mean the other way around - from Alicante to Valencia by bus, then by plane to Malaga.
