There are parties during the day, but it’s just okay. Mostly alcohol chaos around the pool, you need to know about the good stuff and it’s scattered around the island.
You probably have the Ushuaia landmark if something happens there.
Besides that, there is a beautiful fortress in the old town, you can walk around there, visit authentic shops, and see unusual clothes and various things. Go to the Ushuaia Tower bar on the roof for a cocktail. There are also many bars and restaurants in the Marina.
