Tell me, what are the souvenirs in Tanzania?
Beads, bracelets, paintings, figurines, and other wooden products.
In Stone Town - facial cosmetics, dry perfumes rose, vanilla, jasmine, textiles - for the beach, covers, woven bags, sandals - this is to my taste
So, what is usually brought from there - coffee, spices, local jewelry, various masks/statues/paintings? Besides this, is there anything I missed in the list?
@Anna: It seems everything is listed.
@Anna: Everything is here, come to Stone Town and stroll through the narrow streets, there's plenty of everything. Head towards the Darajani market - there are spices, vanilla, coffee, Baobabs Babu Issa, and dried mango in syrup (usually raspberry-colored, a specialty). Bargain hard at the market.
