Are there any who figured out cheap transportation in Bangkok?

It feels like riding scooters in Grab/Bolt is cheaper than public transport, or can something like a travel card for MRT/BTS be made? (Just so you know, I'm here on a student visa for 5 months.)

Everything is fine with them, there are different ones, both open and closed, with air conditioning and charging for gadgets.

There are also songteo and type tuk tuks, but the name is different, mainly locals use them, and there are also vans
